The Junk Yard Dragon

The Junk Yard Dragon

The modern dragon is not an easy creature to find. Dragons in modern times are elusive, shy, secretive creatures. They are, for the most part, but a shadow of what once was.

When I heard of a junk yard which had problems with their guard dogs going missing my suspicions were aroused. After many painstaking hours my suspicions were confirmed. It was a ‘Little Red’, a distant descendant of the great Red Fire Breathing Dragons of old who’s pride it was to take captive cities and demand sheep, cattle and virgins for their daily fee.

Thankfully the Little Red’s influence seems limited to feline companions who get warmth from his belly and bring him mice in return. It would also seem his hunger for guard dog has helped to cement the friendship…

The Sock Dragon

The Sock Dragon

Dragons, they have become rare in our day and age. They live secretive lives and the chances of seeing one are slim to none. Many of the great dragon species have perished.

This however is one of the little ones who have quietly endured even to the present day, the Emerald Tree Dragon or (Sock Dragon). Like all dragons the desire to hoard treasure is overwhelming. However the lack of hoards of gold and jewels makes it difficult. This species has come to appreciate a different kind of treasure. This answers one of the biggest questions I have each day: “Where do all my socks get off to?”
